Damage types, colors & layers
Under Settings → Configuration you control visual categories for mapping: colors, drawing layers, and damage markers.

Color catalog
Preset palettes (e.g. Standard, Pastel, High contrast) or custom colors with name and hex value. On the canvas you can still pick any color — the catalog speeds up selection.
Layer presets
Predefined damage categories for drawings (layers), including color and order. Typical examples: loss, retouching, notes.
Damage types
Categories for damage markers (annotations): toggleable, with icon and color — e.g. crack, flaking, discoloration, scratch, retouch, water damage, insect damage.
Each institution can adapt types to its practice. Changes apply organization-wide for new mappings.
