PDF export — draft, archive & signature
Condition reports can be exported as PDF — including annotations, detail photos, and the mapping. The important distinction is between draft, archive, and (planned) qualified signature.
Draft PDF
- Available anytime while editing — as often as needed
- Reflects the current text, damages, photos, and mapping
- Without integrity page / archive signature
- The report stays editable
- Typical use: internal review, preview sharing, template checks
Raster photos in downloaded draft PDFs follow the organization-wide image quality setting. The Admin live preview stays on Standard.
Archive PDF (integrity signature)
On finalization the report becomes read-only and an archive PDF is created:

- SHA-256 hash over the PDF content
- Signature metadata: timestamp, author, role, report version, organization
- Stored as an archive record (download via Admin / API)
The archive PDF is tamper-evident: changing the file would invalidate the hash. It is not a qualified electronic signature under eIDAS — it is Documentr’s integrity attestation. Embedded photos use the same image quality as downloads.
Qualified signature (eIDAS) — planned
Professional/Enterprise targets a cryptographic signature via an external trust service (eIDAS-aligned). That is legally distinct from the archive integrity signature and requires a qualified provider integration.
