Naming templates

Naming templates define how inventory numbers, document numbers, report titles, and download filenames are generated. Configure them in the web app under Settings (Configuration → naming templates / PDF-related filenames).

Inventory, document number & title

Admin: naming templates for inventory and document numbers

Per template, among others:

  • Pattern with tokens, e.g. INV-{YYYY}-{####}, {artworkTitle}, {i18n:conditionReport}
  • Conversions: :slug, :file, :upper, :lower, padding (:04), max length (:40)
  • Mode: e.g. suggestion (editable) or manual only
  • Uniqueness and counter reset
  • Live preview and set counter

Download filenames (PDF & SVG)

Admin: download filenames and live preview for PDF and SVG

Configurable separately, including:

  • Final PDF (archive)
  • PDF preview
  • Local PDF (mobile)
  • SVG mapping
