Date format & calendar week

Dates in Documentr follow the German calendar, not the organisation’s number format.

Display

Days appear as DD.MM.YYYY (e.g. 17.04.2026), with time as DD.MM.YYYY, HH:MM. That applies in the web app (form fields, next condition check), in the iPad app, and in PDF helpers such as {{formatDate}} / {{formatDateTime}}.

Storage is ISO dates; only display is localised.

Calendar week

Web-app date fields use the German locale. The datepicker week therefore starts on Monday, not Sunday. There is no organisation-wide setting for the first day of the week — unlike Measurements & number format (comma/point, cm/inch).

What this does not change

  • PDF label language (DE/EN) under Customize PDFs does not change how dates are written — they stay DD.MM.YYYY.
  • Thousand and decimal separators apply to dimensions and form numbers, not to calendar dates.
  • Mapping pixel sizes stay pixels.
