Media library
The media library is the image index inside Documentr — artwork photos and catalog views, report views, detail photos, and the workspace logo. It is not a museum DAM (NetX, Canto) and not a brand portal.
Where to find it
In the web app under Data, order: Condition reports, Artworks, Media library. A grid with filename, size, and usage count. A click opens a preview, the content hash, and deep links to the artwork, report, or settings.
A storage bar shows disk use against the plan limit (Starter 2 GB, Professional 20 GB, Enterprise unlimited).
Reuse an existing image
Image uploads (artwork, report, view, detail photo, logo) offer Choose from library. The picker has list (default) and grid views with name, file size, dimensions, existing uses, upload date, and who uploaded it. A click selects the image.
- Artwork master, artwork catalog views, and logo are live links: replacing the file updates the current use.
- Report, report view, and detail photo are snapshots: the image at inspection time stays even if the artwork photo is replaced later.
What it is not
No video, public portals, or rights/licensing modules. Archive PDFs are not media-library items. Choosing from the library on iPad comes later.
Allowed file formats: Image formats & upload limits.
